I’m not gonna give away any secrets on to how to clean a sewer line but there are right and wrong ways. Today our company was working in a new clients home opening a sewer line. Yesterday we received a call telling us that their was another company working on their sewer line and that they can’t open the line. The homeowner nicely told me that the company in the house quoted him $1,500 to jet the sewer line. If your not familiar with sewer cleaning definitions jetting is using high pressure water to open up line. Jetting is great for keeping lines that build up a lot of grease open, like restaurants. After conversing back and forth for about 5 minutes we told the owner of the home to hire our company for $150 to clean the sewer line before going ahead and cleaning his line with the jetting cleaner that would cost him $1,500 for a couple hours labor.
Long story short after 10 minutes of grinding two different areas our company had his line open and tree roots removed. Though we didn’t even get a tip when we finished we did our job and hopefully he’ll use our services again and refer out our name.
